    Yes everyone has a recipe for one but since no one has posted. This one continues to get rave reviews

    For 5 gal
    O.G. 1.052
    Est IBU’s. 28

    7 lbs Crisp Maris Otter floor Malted
    3 lbs Oatmeal
    0.5 lbs Biscuit
    0.5 lbs Crisp Chocolate Malt
    0.5 lbs Debittered Black Malt
    0.25 lbs Roasted Barley

    Bitter to 28 IBU’s

    I like any good English yeast. 1968 and 1469 are great choices

    The debittered black malt is the key. Adds a great toast flavor but not overly roasted like a lot ( all ) brewpub stouts

    Just tapped. Smooth with tons of Chocolate a bit of roast and a nice malty finish. Served on hand pump with tight sparkler

      Looks like a great recipe. Do you toast the oatmeal flakes prior to brewing?
